This Position reports to: eOEM National Sales Leader

Your role and responsibilities As an Account Sales Manager, eOEM, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing multiple account strategies focused on growth, profitability and customer satisfaction while coordinating all sales activities and managing resolution of customer problems. Responsibilities include assisting with project quotations, order management, customer training and demand generation to position ABB as the preferred vendor.

While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in the region, which includes: WA, OR, and Northern California.

You will be mainly accountable for

Customer Interface & Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison with OEM customers, build strategic account relationships, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.

Sales & Growth Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies, account plans, and recovery plans to maximize market share, margin, and revenue.

Business Development & Negotiation: Identify and secure new OEM customers through outreach methods, lead negotiations, and drive cross‑selling opportunities.

Market & Customer Insight: Provide internal teams with competitive intelligence and customer insights, monitor market trends, and educate customers on ABB products, services, and digital tools.

Qualifications for the role

BA or BS with minimum of 12+ years related experience. Engineering degree preferred.

Experience with complex contact negotiations

Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Experience working with OEM customers and channel partners

Strong technical application, take‑off, and proposal development skills

Customer‑focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs

Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training preferred

Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools

Business travel in district to support assigned accounts

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $116,200 and $185,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
