About The Role The Senior Director, Political Partnership is a critical, leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and market share within the political campaign and public affairs sectors. The Senior Director will be the subject‑matter expert for My Code across all political advertising opportunities and partnerships, and will be responsible for setting both the vertical forecast and the strategy to achieve it. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will develop and execute the overarching sales strategy, lead high‑value client acquisitions, and manage the team responsible for serving political campaigns, committees, non‑profits, and PACs at federal, state, and local levels. This position requires a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the primary office location, and required domestic travel to Washington, D.C., and other key political/campaign areas to support political initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a comprehensive, multi‑cycle sales strategy to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets within the political vertical.
Oversee the entire political sales pipeline, from prospecting and initial engagement to contract negotiation and closing high‑seven‑figure deals.
Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key decision‑makers, including campaign managers, party leadership, political consultants, and senior staff.
Serve as the internal expert on political cycles, trends, technology needs, and competitor activities to inform product development and sales positioning.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing team of political consultants, sales managers, or brand partnership sales executives.
Set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement training programs focused on political sales best practices and product knowledge.
Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Client Success teams to ensure alignment and superior client outcomes.
Provide accurate, timely, and detailed sales forecasting and reporting to the executive leadership team.
Manage the political sales department budget, ensuring cost‑effective strategies and appropriate resource allocation.
Work on creating all client‑facing marketing materials and presentations relevant to the political space.
Ensure all sales practices adhere to relevant political campaign finance laws and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, with a significant focus on selling enterprise solutions or services directly to political campaigns, PACs, parties, or political organizations.
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi‑million‑dollar revenue goals in a high‑stakes, fast‑paced environment.
Deep, verifiable knowledge of U.S. political cycles, campaign structure, and decision‑making processes.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, clients, and employees.
An entrepreneurial mindset, with integrity and ambition.

Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 – $160,000.00. The total target compensation (base salary plus on‑target commission) is highly competitive and is designed to reward success significantly.
