As a Dealer Distribution Specialist, you will play a foundational part in SunSetter’s success by generating sales leads for our dealers to conduct In‑Home Consultations and close sales. This fast‑paced role requires outbound communication to potential prospects and will immediately impact business results. Responsibilities
Use the existing Target Market file to focus on areas needing new or improved dealer distribution. Search for qualified prospects online, evaluating competitive manufacturers, shade adjacencies, and home improvement companies. Develop a robust tracking system for outbound calls and emails, archiving conversations for long‑term documentation. Screen prospects against the Ideal Candidate Profile and document dealer fit. Conduct focused call campaigns by segment (competitive brands, home improvement adjacencies, etc.) to assess strong candidate fit. Create quarterly Deep Dive reports on dealer network performance and identify potential additions to the Target Market file. Partner with strong dealers to expand into additional territories. Set clear expectations and maintain a tracking timeline to ensure dealer additions deliver results. Work with underperforming dealers to turn around performance or add to the Target Market file for prospecting. Facilitate strategic conversations, build contracts, and track win‑back rates. Manage inbound “Become a Dealer” requests and approve qualified prospects with leadership approval. Solicit feedback from existing dealers for new additions. Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Product, and SWF teams on best practices. Assist in enrolling approved new dealers into signed Terms and Conditions and onboarding. Recommend edits to the Sales Ops Specialist. Participate in weekly sales meetings. Benefits & Compensation
Competitive base salary of $70,000–$90,000 plus quarterly bonus up to 30% of eligible wages. Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally within a dealer network. Experience in onboarding new accounts and evaluating based on profile/fit. Excellent organization, multi‑tasking, and goal‑setting skills. Proficiency in building metrics and tracking results. Strong analytical and data‑driven strategic skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Ability to travel by car and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Dynamics, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Valid driver’s license. Culture & Core Values
