Overview Engineering Services and Products Company (ESAPCO) has grown since 1979 into the industry‑leading manufacturer of ClearSpan Structures and GrowSpan Greenhouses, distributing over 30,000 products through direct marketing, online stores and lead‑generation websites. We are seeking a hard‑working Senior Greenhouse Sales Specialist with strong closing skills and a passion for exceeding GrowSpan’s sales goals.

GrowSpan is the national manufacturer of greenhouse and hydroponic systems, serving commercial greenhouse operations, universities, schools, hobby growers and the expanding cannabis cultivation market. The Sales Team has unlimited potential due to continuous growth in the locally‑grown food movement and hydroponic systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design commercial greenhouses functional to vertical and environmental needs.

Collaborate closely with the R&D department for new products and improvements.

Work effectively with internal teams to generate designs and estimates for materials and installation.

Create orders for Commercial Greenhouse Systems that include all necessary accessories.

Build relationships with potential and current customers, trade organizations, and specific growing organizations.

Create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer’s needs.

Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.

Field initial inquiries from prospective customers interested in purchasing or learning more about commercial greenhouse systems and related equipment.

Specialize in Venlo style greenhouse structures and large commercial and engineered greenhouse opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, a candidate should meet the following requirements:

5+ years of experience in greenhouse and/or horticulture industry sales.

Proven track record of closing B2B sales with customers in horticulture‑based industries.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent from a four‑year college or 4 years of related experience and/or training).

Extensive knowledge of greenhouse and growing operations, including Venlo style greenhouses.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Strong written communication skills for drafting routine reports and correspondence.

Excellent speaking skills for presenting to groups of customers and/or employees.

Ability to lead and conduct a high‑level needs analysis and deliver professional sales‑quote presentations virtually or in person.

Mathematical skills in probability, statistical inference, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization and to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer skills including knowledge of order processing systems, word processing software, and experience with EPICOR (a plus).

Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to sit, talk or hear; occasionally required to stand and walk. Work environment noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation Salary commensurate with experience, plus commission.
