Position Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced sales professional to join the team as an
Account Executive .
This will be a
remote
opportunity with at least 50% time out in the field required. The territory includes Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City. Candidates must live on or very close to Long Island due to the high volume of business there.
The Account Executive actively identifies and engages new clients while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing ones. The role focuses on maintaining consistent client contact, developing targeted territory plans, and adapting to feedback. Frequent travel within the territory to provide exceptional customer service and prospect for new clients.
Required Skills/Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or sales, OR 2-3 years of experience in the peer review, IME (Independent Medical Examination) space, OR experience selling to insurance defense firms or workers’ compensation defense firms. Valid State Driver's License. Travel : Frequent within the territory. Technical and Analytical Skills : Proficient in CRM software, PowerPoint, and Excel for client management, sales tracking, and data analysis. Communication and Problem-Solving : Exceptional communication skills for presentations and diverse audiences; strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns creatively. Teamwork and Ethical Conduct : Ability to work effectively in a team, fostering a positive culture; high ethical standards in line with company values. Adaptability and Professional Development : Adapt to changing market conditions; committed to continuous professional development and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Management : Proactively identify, engage, and secure new clients while expanding existing relationships. Sales Strategy and Performance : Develop and execute territory plans; analyze competitive landscapes; maintain accountability through CRM tools. Client Engagement and Representation : Lead face‑to‑face interactions; represent the company at industry events; manage client concerns and feedback. Collaboration and Communication : Work collaboratively across departments; provide updates to sales leadership and contribute to meetings with strategic recommendations. Professional Development and Compliance : Commit to continuous learning and ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies. Additional duties as assigned by management.
