Account Executive – ROOM (North America) Room is redefining modern workspaces with modular, sustainable office solutions that can be tailored and re‑configured on demand. As a member of the North American sales team based in San Francisco or New York, you will lead the expansion of Room’s portfolio by showcasing the company’s industry‑leading products and embodying its mission to create better ways to work.

About the Role

Lead sales efforts across the United States, collaborating with the core Room team and the local OFS sales organization.

Drive both inbound and outbound prospecting activities with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Meet or exceed national account targets while maintaining a high‑intent pipeline.

Represent Room in virtual and physical showroom tours.

Key Responsibilities

Initiate outbound calls to engage new prospects.

Maintain daily oversight of pipeline and sales activities and produce accurate forecasting.

Qualify and vet inbound leads to keep a high‑intent pipeline.

Convert Room website inquiries into qualified sales opportunities.

Collaborate with OFS Channel Sales Representatives to raise awareness of Room solutions.

Follow up consistently with accounts in your pipeline to drive revenue.

Build consultative relationships with key decision‑makers in small‑to‑mid‑market companies.

Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.

Deliver tailored needs analysis and seamless sales experiences for leads.

Conduct both virtual and in‑person showroom tours showcasing product design and brand vision.

Qualifications

3+ years of sales experience with a proven record of closing new business from inbound and outbound channels.

Consistently exceeded sales quotas in high‑pace, short sales‑cycle environments.

Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, ensuring optimal customer care throughout the sales process.

Experience in fast‑paced sales or startup environments, delivering top‑tier service.

Proactive outreach skills that generate urgency and drive sales.

Curiosity and passion for the future of workspaces and open office environments.

Proficient in managing fast‑paced environments with minimal oversight and adaptability to change.

Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking without losing focus.

Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.

Full‑cycle sales experience from prospecting to post‑sale care.
