is seeking a dedicated Field Sales Manager to drive sales volume and distribution objectives across the Hollywood area. The candidate will manage and coach a team of sales representatives, ensuring performance goals are met through effective planning, training, and execution.

Job Description Summary A Field Sales manager achieves sales volume and distribution objectives of the company and supplier by managing and coaching a team of sales representatives, guiding them on closing gaps and improving performance through proper planning, organization, training, and execution.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and coach a team of sales representatives.

Conduct effective one‑on‑one sales meetings to communicate objectives, identify opportunities, review performance against goals, and guide team members on closing gaps.

Develop and review performance enhancement plans for each representative, maintaining training files, conducting evaluations, monitoring 90‑day evaluations on new hires, performing coaching calls, filling out MBOs, and following up on progress.

Address skill deficiencies by developing customized coaching plans, tracking progress, and recording improvement.

Pre‑plan prior to each sales period by holding one‑on‑one meetings with each representative, strategizing on goal achievement, and helping define target accounts when applicable.

Participate in associate interview and selection, working with HR to source candidates, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding.

Demonstrate strong customer orientation by maintaining relationships with key accounts, identifying account opportunities, performing business reviews, developing opening orders with new accounts, selling‑in existing stores, managing open territories, and resolving customer complaints.

Manage supplier surveys: plan routes, pre‑survey accounts, conduct surveys, recap results, and schedule sales representatives as needed.

Coordinate supplier ride‑withs by collaborating with Business Managers on scheduling.

Resolve customer issues by following administrative processes and escalating to management as appropriate.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and work experience.

Minimum of 5 years of related sales experience.

Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs, including presentation software.

Results‑oriented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi‑task, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.

Analytical and reporting skills.

Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume team environment.

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit.

Understanding of wine and spirits.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.

Competencies

Coordinate the work of junior team members.

Resolve varied and non‑routine issues, undertaking analysis to solve them.

Salary And Benefit Statement Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, salary ranges, market data, applicant skills, and prior experience.

Compensation

$76,800 – $104,100 salary range

20% annual bonus

Mileage reimbursement at 70¢ per business mile driven
