Job Overview We are seeking a
Regional Sales Manager
for the Houston territory. The role reports to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for driving the division’s sales strategy, leading the sales team, and delivering revenue growth. This key leadership position requires a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of building and managing high‑performance sales organizations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into new verticals or geographies.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adjust strategies as needed.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales team, including setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of sales staff.
Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals across all channels.
Establish metrics for tracking sales performance and ensure consistent reporting to the executive team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, operations) to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives.
Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the beverage distribution industry preferred.
Proven track record in achieving sales goals and executing market programs that support corporate initiatives.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading large, high‑performance sales teams.
Strong understanding of sales methodologies, CRM systems, and performance metrics.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience in the beverage distribution, import/export industry is a plus.
Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Financial understanding and acumen.
Must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
Must pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment.
