Regional Sales Manager (Channel sales Thermal & Power Supply products)
Position Overview The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic sales and merchandising initiatives in high-volume distributor channels. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in account management and a strong record of profitable sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of thermal management and power supply products and a proven ability to work cross‑functionally with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to meet customer requirements and achieve profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and refine sales strategies with a focus on growth and profitability for major distributor partners.
Manage a portfolio covering categories Thermal & Power Supply products such as fan, blower, heatsink, cold‑plate, water cooling, Industrial Power Supply, Medical Power Supply, LED Driver, Server Power Supply, etc.
Ensure best‑in‑class execution of strategies in dynamic, competitive environments.
Lead all sales, merchandising, and program initiatives for top accounts, ensuring optimal product assortment and shelf‑space utilization.
Handle program negotiations, new product launches, business reviews, and assortment integrity.
Analyze sales and inventory trends to inform forecasting, drive growth, and support execution of initiatives.
Leverage an in‑depth understanding of electronics distributor processes, marketing strategies, and operational processes.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align distributor and brand goals.
Leadership & Performance Management
Mentor and guide sales teams, defining KPIs and CRM, and establishing a culture of accountability and excellence.
Track and manage a pipeline of projects specified, monitor project stages from initial specification through bid, procurement, and installation, and work closely with regional sales managers, R&D, operations, and distributors to convert specifications into revenue.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in account management, product management, technical marketing, or sales development within the electronics distributor market (AI data center, industries, and medical).
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal Science, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of thermal system design and power supply (AC/DC or DC/DC).
Ability to discuss design and compliance benefits with technically trained customers.
Proven success in launching new products and managing complex cross‑functional projects.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25–30% for customer engagement, supplier visits, and trade shows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM, ERP, and CRM systems.
