Overview of Job Responsibilities
Design and deliver educational training programs for our global sales services team, conducting skills gap analyses, preparing learning materials and evaluating results after each training session. This is a very important role to the success of our clients, and most importantly, our valued team members. You will ultimately help increase the overall performance of the sales team and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.
Create, develop, and enhance sales training curriculum and enrich existing sales training programs.
Effectively deliver training to new and existing sales reps and leaders in the classroom and on the sales floor.
Analyze, design, develop and evaluate training solutions, including interactive instructor‑led courses, self‑instruction and web‑based learning modules.
Assist and/or improve quality standards, KPI measurements and/or customize standards per individual client.
Assist with the process and review team member performance, identifying knowledge gaps and organizing subsequent training appropriate to close those gaps.
Collaborate with Operations, Team Leads, and Managers to diagnose performance challenges and define training needs aligned with business goals.
Partner with client‑facing teams or clients directly, as needed, to support training initiatives that enhance training performance outcomes.
Motivate and encourage team members to think creatively and collaborate for overall success.
Quality audits of services provided by telephone, email, social, written communication and CRM data inputs.
Help identify cost‑effective delivery methods for training.
Consistently assess effectiveness of training programs.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
4+ years of work experience in an inside sales role (required).
3–4 years of work experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role (required).
Experience in understanding/implementing adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
Training needs analysis experience, and an understanding of methods that drive and enhance performance linked to business objectives and KPIs.
Understanding of and ability to apply strategic lead generation methodologies.
Experience selling complex solutions with a consistent record of achieving goals, retaining accounts and gaining positive feedback.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner, listen attentively to others and offer guidance and support to team members.;
Strong coaching acumen with experience in training reinforcement and performance‑based feedback across all levels.
Knowledge of CRM/Cadence management software and contact‑management terminology and tools.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
Vocational, corporate, professional training background and certifications preferred.
Hands‑on experience implementing a competency‑based framework for training.
IT / Technology / Telecommunications sector knowledge preferred.
Great sense of humor.
