Summary The Aftermarket Manager Flanders is responsible for the service aftermarket operations in Flanders on the construction fleet. He/She is based in our Service Center in Izegem but will also join meetings in our main office in Overijse and in our Sevice Center in Fleurus. His/Her team is composed of field & workshop technician, PSSR, Tech support and admin. The main objectives are to run the business while offering best in class service to customers and define + execute the strategy to improve and grow our business in Flanders in coordination with all BIA entities. Ideal candidate is proactive, full of energy, and maintain a positive attitude even in challenging situations.
What will be your responsibilities? HSE
Follow and implement all HSE activities to reach zero accident
Organize monthly toolbox
Lead
Inspire and gather the team around clear objectives
Define and execute the strategy to increase market shares in Flanders
Grow the team’s knowledge and competences
Generate and encourage collaboration with other departments to speak one voice to customers
Implement the “How can I help you” mindset
Manage
Manage the team (PMP, organization, HR, …)
Increase the profitability of the aftermarket business while offering best‑in‑class service
Define Processes, Tooling and Service Team skill to meet OEM, customer and BIA’s needs
Define, standardize & implement Service operational KPI to achieve BIA’s objectives and optimize resources.
Support partnership conformity standard aligned with excellence program : ISO, VCA, PPP, DOS
Organize and dynamize share of good practices across service operation
Responsible for the service center and all related activies
Support 5S implementation with QHSE
Work hand in hand with the facility department to maintain & develop the infrastructure
Align workshop capabilities and means in equation with the workload and profitability
Offer best‑in‑class service to our BIA Rental activity to use Izegem as a HUB
Lead and coordinate tooling management, definition and calibration
Make frequent contact with customers to understand their needs and improve customer satisfaction
Who are we looking for?
University degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and people management
Strong leadership skills
Have the energy to inspire and a positive mindset to drive success
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills
Technical affinity
Good analytical skills
At ease with all numerical tools (Microsoft office, Ai, ERP). Working with SAP is a plus.
Aftermarket experience is an advantage
