Job Details Well-established contractor seeks a skilled MEP Project Manager to join their growing team. As a Permanent Mechanical PM, you will play a critical role in managing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of diverse construction projects, including commercial and residential buildings. The role offers a blend of technical, managerial, and creative challenges, covering design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of the MEP project.
Develop and implement MEP project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion.
Manage and coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure all MEP aspects are synchronized.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other specialists to integrate MEP systems into overall design.
Ensure all MEP systems meet required standards, regulations, and budget constraints.
Troubleshoot issues with MEP systems and implement corrective measures.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in inspection, testing, adjustment, and balancing of MEP systems.
Regularly report project status to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP project management within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
Experience managing commercial MEP projects.
Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with project management software.
Certifications such as PMP or CCM are an added advantage.
