Job Description Develop and grow market share for Dynapac North America LLC paving and compaction product lines in the designated territory. Implement actions that result in sales and profitability growth in line with overall company objectives and goals. This position reports to the Director of Dealer Sales and Development.
Location & Travel Must currently live in the territory being supported with easy airport access: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Dakotas. Frequent travel is required – up to 75% overnight travel by car and/or airplane, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Grow Dynapac North America LLC sales and market share in applicable construction segments as directed.
Perform sales management of market and distribution in the territory to best cover the customers present.
Develop road construction sales on a direct basis, and support distribution and other company representatives as necessary.
Develop and implement a strategy to achieve sales growth and targets within the assigned geographic area.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of accounts and attention to their needs.
Assess and define customer applications so that the correct product can be represented, ensuring integrity in application.
Assist other road construction equipment representatives as required, including training or shared work with other customers.
Supervise and manage product demonstrations with key customers to prove product productivity, ease of use, and overall performance.
Service
Ensure superior customer product support by working closely with corporate management, product managers, administration, technical, and customer support groups.
Supervise the planning, organization, and administration of road construction equipment demonstrations.
Provide product and application support as needed to other road construction equipment representatives and customers.
Manage and participate actively in new machine startups, training additional sales personnel to provide skilled sales reps for on‑site presentations.
Manage and help solve ongoing technical issues with customers and internal technical support, following up to ensure full resolution.
Communication
Communicate market activities with the senior director of sales, product line managers, and members of the sales team.
Communicate service, administration, and product support issues to product line managers, service management, and customer service.
Prepare information for sales meetings and conference calls.
Prepare essential reports: activity, sales, demo, and marketing reports.
Collect and submit data to maintain the customer information database.
Maintain competitor information (specifications, market share, etc.).
Report industry trends relating to equipment, markets, and applications; participate in equipment shows and association meetings.
Assist other Dynapac personnel in achieving their goals in the geographic area.
File serious customer complaints to the senior director of sales for systematic resolution.
Training & Skill Development
Maintain a high level of product and product application knowledge.
Possess a thorough understanding of machine functions and systems.
Present effective sales and product training seminars to customer sales teams and end customers.
Manage multiple customers and their multilayer personnel organizations, from corporate management to field mechanics.
Apply computers and associated software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to support daily activities.
Utilize CRM and quotation tools to improve customer relationship management and visibility.
Leadership & Management
Manage distributors and other channels to help them exceed sales targets and provide necessary support.
Participate in management team meetings, reviews, territory management, inventory control, and planning processes.
Actively participate in industry trade associations in collaboration with the director of sales.

Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five or more years of related industry experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the road construction industry and products is a definite plus.
Certifications/Licenses Maintain a valid driver's license.
Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions.
Demonstrations may involve high noise levels requiring hearing protection.
Potential exposure to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
Position is considered safety‑sensitive.
Physical Demands
Regular sitting, using hands, reaching, talking or hearing.
Regular standing and walking.
Frequent lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
Requires close, distance, and depth vision and ability to adjust focus.
