Federal Account Executive – Intel

About the Position Our Federal DoD Account Executive will own all elements of bookings growth in the Intel territory. This includes discovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, executing account strategies, and managing customer expansion. The AE will be quota‑driven and represent Rubrik within the Department of Defense, working with Systems Engineers, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Partners to exceed sales objectives.
Position Deliverables
Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process
Identify and close new opportunities for growth working with Federal DoD Services & Agencies
Present Rubrik solutions within complex data center design environments
Co‑sell and strategize with partners, distributors and VARs to enable rapid growth
Provide management with feedback about the local federal market opportunity and new business opportunities and channel partnerships
About You
5–10 years of Federal / DoD sales experience (Intel preferred)
Passion for selling and a hunger for the hunt (IT industry background preferable)
Great at building and nurturing successful relationships
Consistent record of over‑achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory
Ability to work in a fast‑paced and passionate environment
Drive to expand client base and close sales
Entrepreneurial mindset – willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
Active TS/SCI clearance
Security & Privacy Responsibilities
Understand and follow system‑specific security policies and procedures
Protect data and individual privacy per requirements and regulations
Perform ongoing activities in compliance with service and contractual obligations
Participate in role‑based training and complete assignments on time
Report security issues promptly, aid investigations when needed
Support controlled changes and vulnerability remediation activities
Collaborate with Information Security in designing, implementing, assessing or enhancing system‑specific security and privacy controls
Risk Designation
Non‑Sensitive, Low Risk, Tier 1 – may require Standard Form 85 and Tier 1 investigation
Non‑Sensitive, Moderate Risk, Tier 2 (Public Trust) – may require Standard Form 85P and Tier 2 investigation
Moderate Risk Law Enforcement (CJIS) – may require fingerprint‑based national criminal history background check within 30 days
