Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in the engineering industry who is passionate about driving sales and providing top‑notch customer service. In this role, you will oversee the inside sales team, develop sales strategies, and foster relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, custom manufacturing, and engineered products.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the inside sales team, providing coaching and development to ensure high performance and success.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in B2B markets.
Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, strategies, and performance reports to the executive team.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to understand product specifications and capabilities.
Prepare detailed quotes for clients, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Collaborate with marketing and product development departments to understand and promote our company’s product suite.
Ensure the CRM system is effectively managed and utilized to its full potential.
Analyze market trends and competitor behavior to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Handle complex customer complaints or disputes, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation.
Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote our brand.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, custom manufacturing, and engineered products.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical skills with a problem‑solving attitude.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Experience with CRM software and other sales tools.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
Ability to travel as needed.
