Inside Sales Representative
Automation-X, the industry leader in oil and gas wellhead automation products, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team in the ArkLaTex Office. The role focuses on developing existing customer relationships, managing sales orders, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities
Respond to customers’ requests for pricing, order status and delivery
Document and resolve customer conflicts
Coordinate with Business Units and Corporate to ensure customer satisfaction
Demonstrate knowledge of Automation‑X’s products and solutions
Deliver and exceed Business Unit sales targets
Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Handle external and internal correspondence
Update customer records
Engage customers with walk‑ins
Create quotes and follow up on them
Open sales orders and manage pending billing reports
Submit RMA reports and review reports
Enter customer interactions into CRM
Collaborate with RSM, ADR, and Sales Associates on account strategies
Submit monthly expense reports
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum)
Experience in purchasing or inside sales preferred
Strong communication and data entry skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems
Excellent customer relations and ability to understand customer needs
Detail‑oriented and able to ensure correct automation solutions
Professional representation of Automation‑X and ability to build relationships
Experience in Oil & Gas Automation and understanding of wellhead product aspects a plus
Ability to work with internal departments to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction
