In this role you will be the key support within the sales organization for the Ahold Delhaize & Publix (Frozen Handheld, Spreads, and Coffee) Sales Team. You will collaborate and work cross‑functionally with teams across the commercial organization by providing support with daily, weekly and monthly ad-hoc reporting while also analyzing key opportunities to help deliver sales targets.
Location: Working Remotely near Charlotte, NC (location of key account managed)
Responsibilities
Own custom reporting needs, developing, updating and interpreting data to provide insights to the sales team and support ad‑hoc business needs
Create and maintain merchandising planners for the commercial organization
Assist managers with administrative needs of the business: customer contracts, new item set-up, cost changes, internal/external audit resolution, deduction and reclaim management, etc.
Support promotional planning and maintenance in the Trade Planning System
Partner with the sales team to develop new item presentations, evaluate business trends, and create presentations supporting sales priorities and initiatives
Support sales needs for annual business and joint planning processes
Develop a strong understanding of customer business strategies, systems and resources to support the sales team with a focus on continual improvement
Manage customer system reporting to support team needs and analysis with recommendations for improvement; collaborate with the Analytics organization
Support ad‑hoc requests for customer system data as needed
Understand customer KPIs and collaborate with cross‑functional and sales teams to deliver against retailer expectations
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to communicate and ensure flawless execution of pricing, promotion and merchandising plans
Own and maintain the SharePoint site and calendars for the team, support record‑keeping expectations
Lead coordination for sales team business reviews
Support invoicing/payment processing for the team as needed
Assist in the preparation of market visits and key internal and customer meetings
Support ongoing special project work, product samples, office supply needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
2 years of business experience; Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced Excel skillset strongly preferred
Demonstrated PowerPoint experience putting data and graphs into presentation‑ready formats
Strong desire to learn and succeed
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Reside within the greater Charlotte, NC area
