Service Solutions Sales Manager . The Field-based (remote) position will be headquartered out of our
Greenville, NC
headquarters office.
What You Will Do
Travel: You will travel 75% of the time, engaging extensively with our Major Account customers.
Drive Pipeline Growth: Identify and pursue target accounts, maintaining a robust flow of qualified opportunities in the CRM and providing regular forecasts.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute sales plans tailored to customer needs, collaborating with National Accounts and utilizing Salesforce for account development.
Deliver Revenue and Value: Implement sales strategies to meet annual operating plan goals, including conducting C-level discovery meetings to understand and address customer service program expectations.
Conduct Site Surveys and Respond to RFPs: Complete fleet application surveys to support RFP submissions and generate timely, comprehensive proposals with full pricing and recommendations.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction and Competitive Solutions: Communicate customer expectations clearly, design service solutions that meet profitability guidelines, and differentiate offerings by quality, scope, and pricing.

What You Will Need
Education: Bachelor’s in Business; MBA a plus.
Experience: At least 7 years’ relevant business experience.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Product Application and Industry Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial equipment or materials handling sectors, with a strong understanding of how products address customer needs and industry challenges.
Fleet Management Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of fleet management principles, including operating cost analysis, fleet optimization strategies, and data‑driven decision‑making. At least 3 years of direct experience in this area.
Sales Acumen: Proven success in solution‑based selling, pipeline management, and negotiating complex service contracts, preferably within the industrial or B2B environment.
Customer Engagement, Presentation, and Communication: Exceptional ability to present solutions and value to stakeholders at all levels, including C‑suite executives. Strong customer service orientation and persuasive communication skills are essential.
Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to assess customer operations, identify improvement opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that drive measurable results.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced PC skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) for reporting, forecasting, and proposal development.
