What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist in the development and delivery of STEM experiences for K-12 audiences and the general public
Support setup, execution, and cleanup of scientific staff events
Help manage lab/classroom activities and assist with field trips
Collaborate with community partners and contribute to professional development events
Supervise the Summer Science Camp and other related activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
Must be a student at UW-Madison
Experience with science communication, public speaking, teaching, or research is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Relevant experience in community engagement or STEM education
Previous involvement in organizing events or programs related to science
Familiarity with public speaking or teaching methodologies
Strong customer service skills
