Saturday mornings on a rota, 8.15am – 12.30pm
We’re recruiting a Service Advisor to join a busy and well-established dealership, where customer care and teamwork sit at the heart of everything they do. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
As a Service Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for customers throughout their service journey, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and looked after from start to finish.
The role You’ll be responsible for coordinating service bookings, communicating clearly with customers and the workshop team, and ensuring all administration is completed accurately and on time. This is a varied role where no two days are the same and where attention to detail and a friendly, professional approach are essential.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
Managing service bookings using a digital diary system
Advising customers clearly and honestly on work required, including any additional recommendations identified during vehicle checks
Keeping customers updated on progress throughout their visit
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records
Completing all administration, including invoicing and job documentation
Preparing upcoming bookings by confirming appointments, checking parts availability, recalls, and service plans
Handling payments in line with company procedures
Coordinating courtesy vehicles, ensuring they are ready for customer use
Liaising closely with the workshop team to monitor progress and resolve queries
Supporting customer follow-up processes to maintain high satisfaction levels
Building positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and external partners
About you
Friendly, approachable, and customer‑focused
Confident communicator with a professional manner
Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise effectively
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of the role
Previous experience in a customer service or service advisor role would be beneficial, but not essential
