The Technical Sales Representative will drive sales of scientific instruments within the territory. They will work closely with assigned product management, marketing and other assets to develop an understanding of the territory landscape and customer needs throughout the geography.
Location: Home office based in the Midwest US with regional travel
In This Role You Will:
Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Cultivating relationships with potential and existing clients
Actively participating with associations and organizations aligned with company key market segments and emerging markets
Develop a sales strategy and plans in coordination with key company stakeholders
Ideal Skills/Knowledge:
BA/BS in or higher in chemistry or a related STEM degree
3 or more years of sales experience, ideally selling scientific instruments to labs
A track record of success following a sales process and utilizing a CRM
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong public speaking skills
Knowledge of analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP or related analyzers a plus
