Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Our client, NYC-based AI software firm that builds workforce‑intelligence tools that help project‑driven companies better plan, allocate, and optimize their teams, is looking to add to their sales team.
This role centers on driving new business for a fast‑moving SaaS platform that supports workforce planning and operational visibility for project‑based organizations. The company is seeking someone who has previously helped a venture‑backed software product gain adoption within mid‑market or smaller corporate environments. You’ll be instrumental in shaping and advancing a sales motion that serves emerging and growing customers while expanding into larger enterprise accounts.
What They’re Looking For:
4–8 years in B2B software sales with a consistent track record of performance
Exposure to selling into companies roughly under the 250‑employee range
Background working inside early‑stage, venture‑funded tech environments (Series A–C)
Comfort running the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, tailored demos, structuring proposals, negotiating terms, and securing signatures
Experience crafting deal strategies and navigating multi‑step buying processes
A hands‑on mindset with a willingness to do both strategic and tactical work
Demonstrated success closing SaaS deals in the ~$10K–$30K ACV range
Competitive commercial instincts paired with resilience and consistency against quarterly targets
Strong interpersonal awareness and emotional intelligence
Nice‑to‑have: selling into professional services or time‑billing‑oriented industries
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Strong initiative, creativity, and personal drive
Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision‑making abilities
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating with autonomy
Able to build rapport with prospects, clients, and internal partners
