We are searching for a highly strategic and meticulous Account Manager to serve as the primary relationship owner for our critical, high‑compliance manufacturing customers (including those in the aerospace/defense sector) in Covina. Reporting directly to the Company Director, this role acts as the main conduit between the customer and our internal operations. The Manager will oversee all aspects of the sales and order lifecycle, and will also be responsible for ensuring account health, monitoring profitability, and performing crucial contract review to ensure all demanding contractual obligations are met.

Base pay range $80,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the central point of contact for key customers, building and maintaining deep relationships and proactively communicating all scheduling, order status, and repair program updates.

Conduct mandatory and meticulous Contract Review on all incoming orders to ensure strict alignment with CEC's capabilities and the demanding requirements of aerospace and military standards.

Collaborate directly with the Director to monitor and establish product line profit margins, set appropriate sales prices, and engage in careful negotiation strategies for large contracts and new business.

Drive the complete sales administration process, overseeing detailed quotes, order entry, invoicing, collection support, and compiling historical data for accurate sales forecasting.

Directly supervise and mentor the Inside Sales Administrator, ensuring the team provides timely and accurate support, while keeping internal departments (Operations, Engineering, Finance) informed of critical customer and schedule changes.

Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the sales order lifecycle and propose improvements to maximize system speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer compliance, delivery timeliness, and financial risk (e.g., late receivables), reporting critical issues and mitigation strategies to the Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A proven track record of maintaining and growing business relationships within a technical or manufacturing environment (Aerospace is preferred)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, focused on clarity and professionalism when interfacing with high‑value customers.

Meticulous attention to detail required for mandatory Contract Review, particularly concerning high‑compliance industries.

Strong proficiency in ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Direct experience or deep familiarity with the quality and contractual requirements of the aerospace or medical manufacturing industries.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, or Engineering discipline).

5–7 years of experience in account management, technical sales, or contract management.

$80,000 – $95,000 + Annual Bonus.
