Job Overview As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell our products and provide support & guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers the relevant information they need for the best experience, and work on garment refill & care, presentation, and maintain a clean sales floor and back‑of‑house. You will work closely with the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Day in the Life

Provide excellent customer service and guide customers through the store and OMNI experience.

Engage with customers at various touchpoints, promoting and selling our products.

Guide customers through fashion trends, stories & products in all areas of the store.

Actively promote the Hello Member loyalty app and in‑store sustainability initiatives.

Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.

Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.

Support opening and closing of the store, and keep a clean sales floor and stockrooms.

Follow H&S guidelines and all legal requirements applicable to the role.

Sales / Retail Operations

Complete the garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care.

Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice.

Maintain attractive merchandise displays and visual commercial guidelines.

Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.

Use in‑store OMNI services and tech tools (instore care app, Click & Collect, Smart Store).

General Information

Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, brands and competitors.

Share relevant fashion and product knowledge with customers.

Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues.

Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements.

Give and receive feedback to learn, develop and support each other.

Participate in onboarding, trainings and courses relevant for your role.

Qualifications

Passionate about fashion and customer experience.

Communicative, creative, curious and action‑oriented.

Adaptable, flexible, decisive and collaborative.

Prior sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or related industries.

Job Status & Compensation Hourly, Non‑Exempt. Sales Associates Pay Rate $13 per hour.
