in New York City. We are looking for an energetic professional to join our Construction Services Group.

What The Day Will Look Like

Collaborate with senior unit members to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business.

Accurately and timely respond to client requests and inquiries.

Prepare new business and renewal proposals, keeping them up to date.

Analyze client‑specific risk exposure and coverage requirements; prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with the underwriting community, especially key partner markets.

Process and issue new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations as applicable.

Review and proofread all assignments, acquire accurate signatures, and dispense as appropriate.

Calculate adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance and provider documents.

Lead, measure, and report on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs.

Handle daily tasks and key assignments with appropriate technology tools.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

5+ years of commercial insurance experience, with preference for Construction experience.

Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including insurance courses, certifications, and designations.

Thorough analysis of current risk transfer programs, including coverage and cost analysis and graphical representations.

Insurance program structure planning and design of alternatives based on client objectives.

Prepare marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate, and assist in market meetings and negotiations, as appropriate.

Finalize all risk transfer quotes and complete a thorough comparison of program options for the client proposal presentation.

Contract review and ensure proper client service.

Policy and other related document checking, invoicing, and other transactional duties.

Review and clear audits and adjustments; conduct claims review and analysis.

Assist the team as needed, including special projects and daily backup.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent years of industry experience.

A Property and Casualty Brokers License is required, or must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not already active.

Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 to $140,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on your education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. The salary may also be adjusted based on geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan that offers an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
