Account Executive III – New York City
Aon is seeking an experienced Account Executive III for our Construction Services Group in New York City. The role focuses on building and renewing relationships with clients in the construction and infrastructure risk market.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior unit members to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business.
Accurately respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
Prepare new business and renewal proposals and keep them up to date.
Analyze client specific risk exposure, prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with the underwriting community, especially key partner markets.
Process, and, where applicable, issue new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations.
Review and proofread all assignments, acquire accurate signatures, and dispense as appropriate.
Calculate adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance documents.
Lead, measure, and report on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs.
Handle daily tasks and key assignments with appropriate technology tools.
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years commercial insurance experience, preference for those with construction experience.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including insurance courses, certifications, and designations.
Thorough analysis of current risk transfer programs, coverage and cost analysis, and graphical representations of the program.
Insurance program structure planning and design of alternatives based on client objectives.
Prepare marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate, and assist in market meetings and negotiations.
Finalize all risk transfer quotes and complete a thorough comparison of program options as part of the client proposal presentation, including changes in exposure, losses, coverage terms and conditions, and cost of risk.
Contract review and responsible for ensuring proper client service.
Policy and other related document checking, invoicing, and other transactional duties.
Review and clear audits and adjustments, claims review and analysis.
Assist team as needed, e.g., special projects and daily backup.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of industry experience.
A Property and Casualty Brokers License is required, or must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not already active.

Pay Transparency The salary range for this position (U.S. applicants) is $170,000 to $250,000 annually. The range is based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The position is eligible for annual incentive plans.
