What The Day Will Look Like

Collaborates with senior unit members to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business.

Responds accurately and timely to client requests and inquiries.

Prepares new business and renewal proposals and keeps them current.

Analyzes client‑specific risk exposure, details coverage requirements, and presents marketing proposals for renewals and new business.

Establishes and maintains positive relationships with the underwriting community, especially key partner markets.

Processes and/or issues new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations.

Reviews and proofs all assignments, obtains accurate signatures, and dispenses as appropriate.

Calculates adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance and provider documents.

Leads, measures, and reports on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs.

Handles daily tasks and key assignments with appropriate technology tools.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

10+ years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in Construction.

Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including insurance courses, certifications, and designations.

Conducts thorough risk‑transfer program analysis, such as coverage and cost analysis with graphical representations.

Plans and designs insurance program structures based on client objectives.

Prepares marketplace insurance submissions, coordinates, and assists in market meetings and negotiations as appropriate.

Finalizes all risk‑transfer quotes and complete thorough comparisons of program options for client proposal presentations.

Reviews contracts and ensures proper client service.

Checks policy documents, invoices, and performs transactional duties.

Clears audits and adjustments, reviews claims, and performs analysis.

Assists team as needed, e.g., special projects and daily backup.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of industry experience.

A Property and Casualty Brokers License is required, or must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not already active.

Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $170,000 to $250,000 annually, varying by education, experience, skills, and geographical location. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus under an incentive plan.
