Controls and directs game in progress by dealing according to department procedures and maintaining game protection. Communicate any pertinent information to the pit manager, floor supervisor, or other necessary team members regarding player information, Title 31 information, suspicious activity, possible intoxicated guests, or any other information that is important to the operation of the casino. Assures high standards of guest service on assigned game. Utilizes and is receptive to on-the-job training for receiving adequate guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical/Mental Demands And Work Environment
The physical/mental demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time with intermittent breaks on a daily basis. Ability to move effectively and efficiently around the table area (walking the game) so as to be able to observe all areas of the table. Able to work varied hours which include nights, weekends, and holidays. Mental Demands: Ability to observe and give appropriate feedback on the actions of guests. Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division mentally, without the use of aided devices such as calculators and computers; this includes fractions and percentages. Able to verbally communicate effectively. Maintains mental concentration for significant/extended periods of time. Work Environment: Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoke-filled casino environment with above-average noise levels. Ability to complete tasks in an interruptive environment. Minimum Qualifications
Education: No minimum requirement. Training/Experience: Must pass an audition. Job Knowledge: Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, and procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of games dealt. Completion of game training programs with resulting proficiency in games dealt. Other: Must possess exceptional oral and interpersonal communication skills.
