We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to lead ground‑up and renovation projects for K–12 and higher‑education facilities in the San Antonio market. This role requires a hands‑on field leader with strong coordination, scheduling, and quality‑control capabilities.
Responsibilities
Manage all daily onsite construction activities for education projects
Oversee subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and safety compliance
Review plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure work aligns with project goals
Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation
Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
Qualifications
5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
Proven background in K–12 or higher‑education construction
Strong understanding of scheduling, inspections, and site safety practices
Ability to lead subcontractors and manage complex field operations
Proficient in reading construction drawings and managing daily workflows
Strong communication and leadership skills
