Job Summary Piper Fire Protection’s Sarasota, FL branch is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the proper functioning of fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler systems in compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and local regulations. This role contributes to the safety and protection of lives and property in our community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fire Alarm System Inspection

Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and local codes.

Identify and document any deficiencies, malfunctions, or violations related to fire alarm systems.

Verify that alarm panels, detectors, notification devices, and emergency power systems are operational.

Test and maintain communication pathways, such as phone lines and communication networks.

Provide recommendations and reports for necessary repairs and upgrades.
