What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Drive sales with new customers and strengthen existing revenues in state government markets

Close complex, long-cycle enterprise deals while navigating state procurement processes

Build and maintain relationships with government officials and systems integrators

Manage sales pipeline effectively to ensure consistent quota attainment and account growth

Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders in state agencies

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of 4-5 years direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets

Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas

4-year college degree or equivalent experience

Ability to work from home and travel to customer locations 70% of the time, including up to 40% overnight travel

Reside within the sales territory, specifically Georgia and Florida

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with state procurement processes and regulations

Familiarity with state MSA terms and contract vehicles

Strong networking skills within government associations and conferences

Technical knowledge of relevant products and services in the industry
