Position Overview Location:

Remote with travel (Approx 30% up to 40% max across: Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Illinois). Can live anywhere in the Midwest, south, or east coast regions. Some central locations considered.

Skills:

Must have sales experience (Capital and or system sales) + automation/industrial engineering understanding or background + experience with cranes or material handling or similar.

Salary:

Base: $100k-$130k + bonus/commission structure.

The Automation Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy and execution for automation products across the nation. This role involves developing relationships with key clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for automation products.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the automation industry.

Identify new business opportunities and potential clients to expand market presence.

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.

Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their selling skills and product knowledge.

Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven track record in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in automation sales.

Strong understanding of automation technologies and solutions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in industrial automation and knowledge of PLC systems.

Base salary listed does not include bonus/commission structure.

Fully remote.

Can live anywhere (ideally Midwest/ south / east coast regions due to our travel locations).
