Overview: The Part‑Time Brand Ambassador is responsible for driving brand awareness by executing Pop Ups in dispensaries, ensuring outlets are perfectly merchandised with our POS, and supporting sales counterparts to bring more awareness to our portfolio through education and training of budtenders and consumers. The role supports all dispensaries within a specific geographic region in New York State, prioritizing Canabals, Kings Road and Lay Up. Reporting to the coordinating salesperson within their geography, the role includes outreach to customers, educating store associates, visual merchandising, and representing the brand at events such as trade shows and expos. The position requires strong project management skills for on‑ground campaigns and administrative abilities for tracking and reporting activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of Cirona Labs' product lines and effectively educate customers on each product.
Act as the face of the portfolio in the market and support the sales counterpart to drive consumer conversion.
Maintain a list of accounts to call and email weekly to secure non‑buy outlets to buying outlets, and deliver incremental velocity and in‑outlet execution.
Support brand awareness and engagement to build and drive B2B.
Provide visual merchandising and product placement within all assigned accounts.
Conduct budtender training sessions to drive education and brand awareness.
Gather store traffic insights, collect feedback, and report market intelligence to senior leadership.
Execute marketing requests from management, ensuring on‑brand representation.
Provide content to customers to promote our products on their webpages and social channels.
Represent Cirona Labs' House Brands at customer‑facing events, including trade shows, expos, and activations.
Maintain professionalism and discretion regarding company matters.
Work in collaboration with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns that drive traffic, sales, and consumer awareness while increasing market share.
Leverage the occasions calendar to determine the brand priorities for each month, supported with our marketing assets.
Administrative Work
Conduct ongoing research on cannabis events and trends.
Prepare reports and recaps of training sessions and events, including feedback and surveys.
Maintain a Field Marketing Representative toolkit and educational materials.
Update the CRM daily with customer interactions.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or promotional role.
Strong time management skills, highly organized, and detail oriented.
A self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility.
Knowledge or willingness to learn state‑specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
An eye for aesthetics, styling, and brand presentation.
1+ years of experience in the legal cannabis industry preferred but not required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures (hot and cold), humidity, darkness, and noise.
Daily exposure to physical risks such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
Ability to wear PPE such as hair net, earplugs, beard net (if applicable), protective gloves, safety harness, safety glasses, and slip‑resistant work shoes/boots.
Position requires the ability to stand, sit at a desk, walk around the office and facility, lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds, utilize fine dexterity, and reach, kneel, crawl, and twist.
High stress tolerance, adaptability, and ability to work in an ever‑changing environment with flexibility.
