As an Account Manager (AM), you are the CEO of your portfolio—responsible for cultivating deep, long-lasting relationships with our most strategic clients. You will use your expertise in eCommerce fraud prevention, chargeback management, and account-based risk assessment to drive retention, lead renewal conversations, and expand accounts through consultative cross‑sell opportunities. This role requires a curious, strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to engage VP‑ and C‑level stakeholders. You'll be a trusted advisor who understands the complexity of your clients’ businesses and works proactively to ensure they achieve measurable success with our platform. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise clients, ensuring high retention and revenue growth
Lead contract renewal negotiations, navigating legal, pricing, and stakeholder alignment with ease
Proactively identify and execute cross‑sell and upsell opportunities that align with client goals
Build strong, consultative relationships at the VP and C‑suite level, becoming a trusted strategic partner
Partner with our Engagement Management Team to deliver business reviews demonstrating ROI & value
Understand and document each client’s goals and the progress being made towards achieving them
Champion a client‑first mindset by building strong relationships across our organization, focused on solving business challenges, driving value with our platform, and identifying internal process improvements
Monitor account health to anticipate risks and mitigate churn proactively
Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for innovations that deliver client value
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce churn, enhance ARR, and enable client success
Drive client references and case studies
95%+ gross revenue retention and 105–110% net revenue retention
Consistent delivery of high‑impact executive engagements
Expansion of client relationships through value‑driven growth initiatives
High NPS scores and strong cross‑functional collaboration
Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Client Success or Account Management managing enterprise‑level clients
Track record of driving revenue expansion through upsell/cross‑sell and successful contract renewals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven success influencing executive stakeholders
Deep curiosity and the ability to quickly understand complex client environments
Self‑starter mentality with a passion for delivering value and growing relationships
Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
Ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels of their organization
Passionate about making our clients successful
Experience using tools like Salesforce, Gainsight, or Totango to manage client portfolios
Ability to Travel Up to 30%

Potential salary range: $115,000‑130,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This role is eligible for remote US‑based (work‑from‑home) locations. Chicago‑based candidates would work in a hybrid capacity from the Accertify HQ located in Itasca, IL.
