Company Description Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting‑edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.
Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top‑tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.
Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.
The Role We’re seeking a service‑oriented professional to support an established and growing book of high‑net‑worth clients in a Relationship Manager & Servicing Advisor role. This is a unique opportunity to step into a thriving advisory practice where you’ll focus entirely on exceptional client service and relationship management – no business development or prospecting required.
You’ll work in close partnership with our Principal Wealth Advisor (Mitch) and Farther’s centralized operations team to deliver seamless, proactive client service. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys the client service side of wealth management and wants a stable, rewarding position without the pressure of building their own book.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in being the go‑to person for clients, excels at follow‑through, and finds satisfaction in excellent service delivery.
Your Impact
Serve as primary point of contact for routine client needs – account updates, money movement, paperwork, and day‑to‑day questions
Schedule and coordinate client meetings for 65+ clients (approximately twice yearly), managing all logistics and follow‑up
Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and own post‑meeting task completion and client communication
Conduct investment analysis, including gathering current holdings, analyzing portfolios, and preparing initial recommendations for advisor review
Support tax planning analysis, including Roth conversion evaluations and other planning scenarios
Build trusted relationships with clients so they come to you first for routine needs, freeing up the lead advisor for strategic work
Potentially serve as primary relationship manager for smaller clients ($250K–$500K AUM) under supervision
Coordinate with Farther’s centralized operations and investment teams for trade execution, compliance, and analysis support
Maintain meticulous CRM documentation and ensure timely completion of all client requests
Create capacity for business development by delivering excellent day‑to‑day service
The Ideal Match
Series 65 (or equivalent) registration with clean U4 record (CFP is a plus but not required)
5 years of financial services experience in client‑facing roles with demonstrated excellence in client service and relationship management
Service‑first mindset – you genuinely enjoy being the go‑to person for clients and find satisfaction in excellent follow‑through
Financial planning and investment knowledge across portfolio management, retirement planning, tax planning basics, and wealth management fundamentals
Exceptional organizational skills – ability to juggle multiple client requests, meeting schedules, and follow‑up tasks without dropping balls
Strong analytical capabilities for investment analysis, portfolio review, and data gathering/organization
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills – can build trust and become clients’ preferred point of contact
Team player – comfortable working closely with lead advisor, taking direction, and collaborating effectively
Technology proficient – comfortable learning new systems and leveraging technology for efficiency
