Construction Scheduler

We are currently seeking a Construction Scheduler to add to our Scheduling Team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in developing, maintaining, and updating CPM schedules during all phases of the project and will coordinate with all project elements including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Responsibilities include developing baselines, maintaining working schedules, creating what‑ifs and optimization scenarios, coordinating and leading update meetings and pull‑planning sessions, and producing a suite of reports in varying formats for the project team. Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated project scheduling experience using CPM methodologies in P6, proficiency in resource loading, detail orientation, and excellent communication are required.
Responsibilities
Develop the project schedule using all available support documentation, including design drawings, contracts, and specifications.
Incorporate design deliverable documents into the schedule and identify design risk.
Work closely with material management to ensure deliveries support installation timeframes.
Develop and manage adequate detail to successfully perform the work.
Perform constructability reviews to validate sequencing and logic.
Identify and communicate risk and opportunity.
Conduct frequent analysis of critical and near‑critical paths and communicate risk to the project team.
Perform weekly schedule update meetings to ensure the most accurate and updated status and information is included in the project plan.
Oversee pull‑planning sessions with the construction team and ensure compliance with baseline schedule summary activities.
Perform regular site walks to understand field conditions and dynamics, validate progress, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills.
Five years or more of P6 CPM scheduling experience in similar markets.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, with a focus on Excel.
Complete understanding of current scheduling concepts and best practices.
Thorough understanding of CPM scheduling methodologies.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Safety Level This is a safety‑sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
Inherent responsibilities may include physical working conditions, including but not limited to:
Potentially lift up to 50 pounds.
Potentially repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
