The Community & Project Outreach Specialist V serves as the primary public interface for local outreach and engagement activities across energy infrastructure projects. This role leads strategic communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives with community leaders, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to promote trust, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement outreach strategies to build credibility with public officials, community organizations, and business partners. Research public and political landscapes to guide engagement plans and risk mitigation efforts. Prepare business leaders for participation in community and regulatory meetings. Support the creation of presentations, talking points, and briefing materials for public forums. Identify and manage external consultants or outreach vendors. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent communication of project status and updates. Support regulatory deliverables related to FERC pre-filing and filing requirements. Evaluate outreach effectiveness and recommend process improvements. Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and stakeholder feedback. Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Political Science, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in Public Relations, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, or Project Management. Proven experience in the

oil and gas industry

(renewable-only backgrounds will not be considered). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Preferred: Master’s degree in Public Relations or related discipline. 10+ years of relevant experience, including experience with FERC-regulated projects. Strong conflict-resolution and relationship-management abilities. Understanding of state and federal regulatory frameworks affecting the energy industry.
