
Real Property Specialist

Nature of Work
The main purpose of this position is to provide appraisal, negotiation, relocation assistance and property management services for State Highway Administration’s capital program under the guidance of a higher-level Real Property Specialist. This is a generalist position performing all duties associated with the acquisition of real estate for the capital program.
Qualifications
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: None.
Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Notes
Additional experience in professional or technical real estate work may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as defined under the Minimum Qualifications may be substituted for the required education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
Licenses & Certifications Candidate must possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the state of Maryland.
