Henard Metal Fabricators builds real projects on tight timelines, and we’re hiring a tech-savvy designer to join our detailing team. Even if you don’t know Tekla yet, we’ll train you. This is perfect for someone who understands construction, enjoys modeling, and wants their designs to go straight to fabrication.

What You’ll Do:

Use Tekla Structures (we’ll train you) to create steel models and shop drawings

Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

Spot and solve issues before they impact construction

Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and project managers

Contribute to steel projects that are completed in months—not years

Requirements

Background in 3D modeling, drafting, or construction design

Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar

Strong understanding of construction principles

Comfortable learning new software

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be willing to relocate to Kingsport, TN within 8 weeks
