Job Summary Property Managers are the cornerstone of our team. They build motivated, trustworthy teams that deliver high‑level service to residents, maximize operating performance, and execute business plans.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee all community operations: maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, investor reporting, collections, evictions, expiration management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, Online Reputation Management, ESG, audits, etc.
Provide superior customer service and communication to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
Drive revenues through knowledge of competition and creative marketing outreach.
Develop, manage, mentor, and lead a high‑performing leasing and maintenance team to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
Attract, train, and retain top talent through interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, and progressive discipline.
Oversee the sales process and ensure an exceptional tour experience for prospective residents.
Proactively follow up with current and prospective renters using a CRM database.
Build and maintain relationships to ensure resident retention and satisfaction.
Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.
Prepare, manage, and maintain all aspects of the community budget and finances.
Work with leasing staff to ensure lease/marketing goals are met.
Hold daily meetings with leasing and maintenance teams.
Perform property inspections and regular walk‑throughs.
Effectively communicate with cross‑functional teams in a timely manner.
Prioritize ongoing projects and manage essential deadlines.
Maintain positive relations with community vendors.
Oversee payables and invoice processing promptly.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Education and Experience
5+ years of multifamily property management experience.
2+ years as a Property Manager.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficiency with a property management system such as RealPage.
Financial acumen and experience creating and operating within a budget is preferred.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation may be required based on property needs.
