Role Overview
Collaborates with campus partners to create compelling photo, video, and digital media content that supports institutional goals, promotes student success, showcases academic excellence and student life, drives enrollment, highlights alumni success, and strengthens the College's brand across digital platforms including website, social media, paid promotions and etc.
The salary range for this position is $47,843.33 - $71,764.99 per year.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
35% Capture and produce high-quality video and visual content for campus events, academic programs, student life, employees, and alumni, including interviews, b-roll, live coverage, and real-time event support (commencement, athletics, Homecoming, Onward!, etc.).
30% Edit and deliver short-form videos, reels, motion graphics, and visual assets optimized and tailored for multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.), ensuring alignment with College brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
20% Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling visual stories, contribute creative direction and fresh ideas to integrated campaigns, and stay current with design, video, and digital trends in higher education.
10% Maintains monthly statistical metrics/analytics and prepares reports to provide evidence of outreach return on investment. Provides consistent tracking of product sales/enrollments.
10% Manage video and design workflows, including file organization, exports, delivery formats, and performance tracking to analyze and improve content effectiveness.
5% Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Knowledge and Skills
Experience: Two (2) plus years of experience in professional photography, videography and/or graphic design.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, media arts, marketing, journalism, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling skills across digital platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse campus stakeholders.
Flexibility to cover occasional evening/weekend events.
Preferred Qualifications / Additional Skills
Proficiency with creative software (Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar tools).
Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, audio and video production equipment.
Drone operations experience with (FAA Part 107 certification preferred).
Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Physical Requirements
The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.
Work Environment
Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
