Job Summary Seeking a dedicated and experienced
Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join a growing team. With over 40 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health/Employee Benefits (L&H/EB), the organization prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. As a second‑generation agency with a strong presence in the community, we are committed to providing exceptional service to the clients while maintaining a positive and stable workplace for the employees. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of small to middle‑market accounts, including contractors, habitational, construction, and other industries.
Compensation Package
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience.
Benefits:
95% employer‑paid health insurance.
401(k) plan with a 6% employer match (eligible after 90 days).
Responsibilities
Manage a generalist book of business, focusing on small to middle‑market specialty accounts.
Handle A‑Z account management, including quoting new and renewal business (10% new business, 90% remarketing).
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Utilize AMS360 software to manage accounts and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Qualifications / Requirements
Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required. Additional designations are a plus but not mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines account management.
5 years of experience in Commercial Lines is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
