What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers across major cities and state governments in the Northeast Corridor

Align security and identity solutions with regional priorities, particularly in digital transformation and cybersecurity

Master distinct procurement cycles and funding mechanisms relevant to each state

Proactively identify and qualify new opportunities within the SLED market

Maintain an active presence and engage with customers and partners across major hubs, requiring travel

What is Required (Qualifications):

Proven success in navigating and closing deals utilizing State and Local cooperative contracts

Proficient at identifying and leveraging key SLED funding streams and budgets

Experience managing complex public sector accounts in the Northeast corridor

Background in selling to the Education market, understanding specific needs of public universities and K-12 districts

Excellent communication skills to interact with C-level executives and SLED leadership

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience with state-specific contract vehicles and the formal RFP/RFQ process

Cross-functional influence and well-developed relationship-building skills

Entrepreneurial spirit with a high level of energy and dedication to succeed

Familiarity with CRM tools for sales pipeline management and forecasting
