TEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental and financial health of our employees and their families. These include two medical plan options for full- and part-time employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, dental and eye care coverage; fertility, surrogacy and adoption assistance; disability and life insurance. The 401(k) program offers contributions ranging from 1% to 80%, with a 100% company match on the first 4% and 100% vesting from day one. Regardless of medical plan participation, all employees and eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with Teladoc and 12 free annual therapy sessions with Spring Health. PTO and nine paid holidays per year are also provided. Some jobs may be covered by a collective bargaining agreement, which may affect benefit applicability.
