Inside Sales Support Representative

The Sales Support Representative plays a critical role in Midland's sales efforts by assisting the enterprise-wide sales team with customer support through customer interactions, order processing, price support and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
Process orders and quotes sent by the customer. Help upsell orders and with cross-selling opportunities. Drive repeat business and expand product penetration across accounts. Act as a point of contact for customers, answering inquiries, and addressing issues related to products, services, and orders. Develop strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Quoting and Proposals
Assist with the preparation and tracking of orders, quotes and proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and policies. Negotiate pricing terms and conditions to close deals. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers. Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and customer service to resolve customer issues and improve customer experience. Share customer feedback to help enhance products, services and processes. Pipeline and Opportunity Management
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in Midland's CRM. Proactively track and manage sales opportunities in Midland's CRM. Market Insight
Stay informed about all Market Vertical trends as well as competitor activities and market dynamics to provide strategic value to customers. Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned. Achievement of sales growth through Quote/Order goals Number of calls, emails and virtual meetings completed per week. Number of orders entered per week. Number of quotes fulfilled per week. Number of qualified opportunities added to pipeline. Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective problem-solving skills. Excel, CRM, and ERP capabilities (IT knowledgeable). Base knowledge of Fittings, Nipples, Valves, etc. (preferred). Education and Experience
A Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Business, or related field. 1-2 years of Inside Sales experience. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
