Strategic Account Executive – Mid‑Atlantic (DocuWare) Apply for the Strategic Account Executive role focused on the Mid‑Atlantic region.

Base Pay Range $155,000.00 /yr – $225,000.00 /yr

Your Responsibilities We’re looking for a Strategic Account Executive who plays a critical role in supporting DocuWare’s channel‑led growth strategy and expanding company presence through partnerships with Authorized DocuWare Partners (ADPs).

This role generates new revenue and boosts partner performance through business planning, enablement, and strategic sales execution.

This role is responsible for developing go‑to‑market strategies, leading enablement programs, and providing tailored support aligned with partner strengths and target markets.

Utilizing a solution‑selling approach, the individual drives joint business planning and pipeline development, helping partners acquire new customers, expand existing accounts, and achieve shared sales objectives.

Location: North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, D.C., Maryland or Delaware.

Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic execution with assigned partners, including new partner acquisition and current partner expansion.

Develop and implement joint business plans with ADPs to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion.

Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for a portfolio of strategic partners, aligning on revenue goals, enablement milestones, and sales outcomes.

Lead sales and technical workshops for partners and facilitate end‑user seminars to support deal closure.

Manage partner onboarding, certifications, and product/solution training to ensure go‑to‑market readiness.

Execute partner marketing campaigns and demand generation initiatives tailored to target industries and partner capabilities.

Maintain accurate partner activity and opportunity data within CRM (e.g. Dynamics 365).

Provide weekly performance updates and forecasts to sales leadership, identifying wins, risks, and action plans for under‑performing partners.

What You Need to Succeed

Ability to travel two weeks a year, including one week to our Beacon, NY office for Quarterly Briefing and one week a year to our DoucWorld event (locations vary).

Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time within territory.

Four‑year college degree or equivalent.

5‑7 years successful SaaS sales experience.

Document management / imaging software industry experience.

Consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer skills with ability to competently demonstrate software functionality.

Ability to analyze business processes and find individualized solutions.

$105,000 to $135,000 base plus commission (based on experience), no cap on compensation; OTE expected $155,000 to $225,000.
