What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage multiple accounts and implement promotional strategies to drive revenue growth
Provide expert product knowledge and support for luminaires, lighting applications, and related controls
Develop and maintain relationships with agencies, specifiers, and influencers in the lighting industry
Track major projects and take action to increase product exposure and success
Collaborate with the North America Sales Director to report on market conditions and sales progress
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Lighting, Business Administration, Marketing, or Architecture
Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in professional sales or technical support, with at least five years in the spec lighting industry
Strong knowledge of selling, pricing, marketing, and distribution models within the industry
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
Proficiency in using Windows programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced coursework in business management, project management, IT skills, or a related field
Product-appropriate advanced level of knowledge
Aptitude for teaching, coaching, and mentoring in both small and large groups
