National Account Executive
The National Account Executive (NAE), is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and alliances to increase sales and national brand awareness by calling on high level stakeholders and executive level decision makers. This role requires a high level of commitment, diligent follow-up, and consistent messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect daily for new business through cold calling, networking, and researching national markets to build a targeted plan
Develop bid presentations after gathering data from internal and external resources
Update sales and budget metrics within Salesforce
Manage the collaboration and information flow throughout the sales cycle
Provide value to prospects to earn trust and gain buy-in
Partner with Regional Account team members to serve customers and to set up for optimal success
Create strategy around upselling to existing business
Engage with trade show associations and attend events to increase network contacts and opportunities
Education / Knowledge / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
4 – 5 years of national account experience
Industry (paint, construction) specific knowledge preferred
Knowledge and experience with Salesforce preferred
Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Serve First mentality
Travel to client locations (40-50% of time)
