$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Company E. Armata is a family-run produce distributor that has been in business for over 100 years (proudly now in our 4th generation). With a humble start in Manhattan at the Washington Street Market, we are now one of the largest distributors operating out of the Hunts Point Produce Market. We are dedicated to managing the company with integrity and offering the highest quality products to our customers - whether they are a large retail customer, an institutional supplier, or a small grocer. Over the last century, E. Armata has prospered as a leader among produce distributors in the tri-state area. We work with the most recognizable brands of fresh produce in the industry, as well as offering our E. Armata label. The Inside Sales Rep position will play an essential role in optimizing sales opportunities, providing exceptional customer service (both externally and internally), and performing critical support and account administration functions within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, organized, dynamic, upbeat, personable, team-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven individual. You should have a strong track record of customer service, performing sales operations, driving inside sales results, and/or inventory management. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include order entry, data cleanse projects, customer service, customer and item pricing management and communications, generating cross-selling opportunities, inventory coordination, “hot sheets” maintenance, route coordination, and facilitating department communication and data synchronization Develop detailed product knowledge Support distribution sales team(s), product managers, and/or field sales team to facilitate sales, administrative support, and/or product-management operations Manage customer ordering patterns, time windows, and policy changes Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders with professionalism Suggest and design functionality and/or process improvements Support office-based administrative duties, communication, and strategic projects Maintain sales reports and databases on behalf of inside & outside sales directors Communicate meeting notes & recaps amongst inside/outside sales teams Requirements

3+ years of inside sales and/or inventory management experience, preferably in food industry (optimally produce) Working knowledge of both Wholesale & DSD distribution models Strong communication skills and attention to detail Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced in Excel Must be willing to learn new systems and technology to support the business as needed Must be flexible to work variable schedules if needed Must be fluent in Spanish, Bi-Lingual Seniority level
