Overview DLF North America is recruiting a

Regional Sales Manager – Western Wisconsin

to lead sales efforts in the La Crosse, WI territory. This is a remote position, but the candidate must live within the region. The role requires 50‑70% travel to dealers and distributors.

Job Responsibilities

Participate in business planning and budget sessions directed by leadership.

Set sales goals and devise actions to meet them.

Analyze sales statistics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and action plans.

Maintain a “total customer satisfaction” orientation.

Increase market share through deeper penetration of new and existing customers.

Implement formal market development approaches, including a customer database, market intelligence, call lists, and trade show attendance.

Serve the existing distributor base and monitor sales to meet customer criteria.

Execute marketing support strategies at approved brand standards, including distributor programs.

Monitor inventory positions in coordination with the shipping department.

Continue product and sales education through meetings, seminars, and materials.

Support internal control procedures related to credit management and assist in clearing credit matters.

Manage accounts receivable and collaborate with Finance to collect overdue accounts.

Foster a team approach with open cross‑functional communication.

Keep the Sales Leader informed.

Promote a safe, healthy work environment by maintaining a zero‑tolerance standard for risk.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree/Certificate in agriculture, sales, or a related business field.

4+ years of agricultural sales experience; seed experience preferred.

Completion of applicable sales training programs.

Demonstrated ability to produce profitable sales growth and develop accounts.

Willingness to travel 50‑70% of the time and possession of a valid driver’s license.

Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and follow‑up skills with attention to detail.

Ability to develop and deliver presentations and proposals.

Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation And Benefits The position offers a competitive compensation plan that includes a base salary, bonus potential, company vehicle, benefit options, a retirement savings plan with company contribution, vacation, and personal days. Compensation is based on experience.
